Last week I found these wedge sandals by POUR LA VICTOIRE on the OUTNET. I love their thick calf leather and the casual look of them. I’d say that they’re having a similar cool edge as Alexander Wang accessories. Great purchase.

Equestrian dressing for a very rainy day in LA. Didn’t think I would use the term ‘rainy’ any time soon in this sunshine state. It’s turning winter in California. Finally after high 90ies some days ago. Cheers to fall dressing!

Athletic styling for an overcast Wednesday in LA. Last weekend I picked up this baseball cap at Cotton On for only $5.00. I customized it by sewing letters -cut out of Karung snake skin on the front. It’s supposed to read KC which are the initials of my name.

Every now and then I’m feeling this strong urge to wear a leather skirt to the office. It’s not an everyday feeling since you need to be confident enough to do so. Well, today is one of these days. I figured that my over-size silk men shirt would look good with a tight-fitted skirt. I love the over-size pockets in the front.

This past weekend has been so relaxing and yet active at the same time. On Saturday we’ve surprised my dear girlfriend Gen with a birthday brunch. I love to see tears of joy. In the afternoon I went on a shopping trip on 3rd street in Santa Monica with my love Antje – I’ve found these great CHAINED ballerinas at JCREW. They’re currently on sale. On Sunday my man and I went to the HUNTINGTON LIBRARY in Pasadena. The botanical garden reminds me of my time as a child when I was surrounded by nature.

WEEKENDS are made for TWIRLING around in RED HEELS

I’m wishing everybody a HAPPY and RELAXING weekend! Spread your arms and twirl around. Twirling frees your mind and soul. This special feeling of having made it through the week, of having completed the to-do-list at work is just so impeccable!

The red shoes you’re seeing in the images are the first pair of red patent sandals I’ve ever owned. There’s just something so classy about a pair of red heels paired with red nail polish. I’m warming up to the idea of classic items.

In the EYE of the STORM… almost.

Hurricane SANDY has had a huge impact on the New Yorkers’ lives for days now. My thoughts go out to the people waiting in their houses for the storm to pass by.

BIRDS SHALL FLY

My Golden dove necklace is self-made. The row of doves serves as a little reminder to break out of the daily routine and to spread my wings.

Tonight I went to the premiere of ‘THE DETAILS’ in Hollywood and it was such a great variation to my usual night routine. I got close to Tobey Maguire who turned out to be a head shorter than me. The movie is very entertaining, I would definitely recommend it. Such a dark comedy.
